# Track Social Post

> Track the status and metrics of a social post that was previously scheduled or published through Birdeye.

## Description

Returns the per-location status and metrics for a social post that was scheduled or published via Birdeye. Supports posts across Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X.

## Parameters

| Parameter    | Type   | Required | Description                                                         |
| ------------ | ------ | -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `trackingId` | string | Yes      | The tracking ID of the post (from Birdeye's social publishing flow) |

## Post Statuses

| Status                 | Description                                    |
| ---------------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| `POST_SCHEDULED`       | Post is queued for future publishing           |
| `POST_PROCESSING`      | Post is currently being published              |
| `POST_SUCCEEDED`       | Post published successfully                    |
| `POST_FAILED`          | Post failed to publish — see `failureReason`   |
| `REJECTED_BY_APPROVER` | Post was rejected during the approval workflow |
